Ronaldo had Rivaldo playing behind him, so it’s not like if there was no midfield to back him up.

But yes, you are right, there is no such talent in Brazil right now (not that there is one somewhere else), at least not one we could expect to see in the team

It is not that they have not been able to produce results at home but that they have no style of play now. It looks like Dunga just wants to not conceed any goals and rest of the stuff he has just left to the players. In the past all these deficiencies were hidden because they had a great forward Ronaldo who would score goals even though there was no midfield play but just quick counter attacks most of the time. Now they don’t have that quality in the forwards. Dunga is constantly looking to Rondalhino for answers that’s why I think past players should not be coaches as they don’t look things objectively. Most of the players in the national team are past their prime but Dunga still wants to look good by using them. Two years from now the whole team will look bad in South Africa if he does not start introducing new faces. He still trusts European based players more than the local players. Most of the younger European based players do not have the quality that everyone expected. They have not really proved anything on the field yet. Unless there is a change on the top things will not change.

It is easy to say it after the game,but hat was exactly what I expected after seeing the game with Venezuela. I didn’t watch this one, but if they played the same way they did last Saturday, the scoreless draw was only to be expected against a more organized defensively team.

This Brazilian team has either forgotten how to or simply does not want to attack

i think the ref got it right for the most part. Kaká was diving all over the place instead of staying on his feet and really helping the team. and then he had the balls to say he was tired at the end of the match. must have worn himself out getting up off the turf so many times

I watched the game and there was also some very rough refereeing. Kaka was put down every time he touched the ball. Unfortunately, the ref seemed to decide that he was a diver and was having none of it.

Everybody hide, the giants are falling! Kinda amazing to be able to witness the ‘evolution’ of other teams. Just watching their improvements and such. A shame for Brazil, but honestly I think they’ve gotten complacent and deserve it.
