Finally, a writer who doesn't just drip copious quantities of praise on everyone/everything, lauding the most trivial crap. Anyway, delighted to read Bruno's refreshing piece/analysis on the Brasil-England match, and those two tired superstars who chose to sit-it-out. I'd given up on finding any REAL summaries, figured they were all written by "homey" cheerleaders. Muito obrigado! PS, I'll be back in Rio next month -- looking forward to seeing a few games. Also, Brian's comments (above) would lead me to believe that I'm not alone..... That's refreshing. It's nice to hear someone actual say something negative about Ronaldinho and Kaka since most other people don't have the balls to go up against the hype machine. I think Brazil were the better squad, but just couldn't take advantage of their opportunities. It probably should have been 2-1 or 3-1, and you're right, how the hell do you let Beckham beat you on a free kick? Not a fan of the Nike boys? That’s refreshing.
