Oh, another thing. I would have a mighty-fine bet with Argentina because (1) the revenge factor, (2) better personnel, (3) far better coaching, and (4) an overlay in the odds – - – right?

Halftime and 2-0 Brazil? Go figure……..

Oh, PS – - – agreed with Mr. Wolfrum’s comments on futebol…. but checked his website; agree with nothing else he sez…..

Corinthians isn’t all that’s broken. How’bout Fox Soccer Channel, ESPN and the others professed to care…
A stupid soccer “soap opera” on Fox, right? While the Copa America finals are on? A re-run of an old game, months old, on another soccer channel…… and the US wonders why soccer isn’t grabbing more attention? Is there a valid excuse for not airing these finals? I think not. Pretty damned sad…..

The sad part is, there is no happy resolution to this situation. Even though Corinthians tried to screw Lyon over (and it still might work), I feel sorry for them because they got involved with MSI. It’s a quality club with a rich history, but a fucked up management.

I think Lyon will be trying to get a player or two from Corinthians, since it looks like they won’t be able to pay for Nilmar. And that’s too bad, since the club is barely able to keep their good players as it is.

Whaaaa? Corinthians was supposedly among the wealthiest clubs in Serie A — rich, except in performance(s)…..

This could not become a reason for some wagering institutions (aka bookies) to cease carrying the whole Brazilian line? Hope not.

Incidentally, the aforementioned bookie (in this case, singular, as others stopped offering spreads on many South American matches for JUST THAT reason…) was not offereing any bets on the Flamingo@Big Flu match or Corinthians and Sao Paulo.

That’s sad. Please keep in top of it.
