Dance of the Coaches
By: Bruno Romani | December 18th, 2007The Brazilian season barely ended and the dance of the coaches already started. In Brazil, this is very typical. Caio Jr. left Palmeiras and went to Goias. Palmeiras brought Vanderley Luxemburgo from Santos, who was replaced by Emerson Leao. Leao, on the other hand, moved from Atletico-MG leaving his place for Geninho. Sport replaced Geninho by Nelsinho Batista, who was fired from Corinthians. Corinthians hired Mano Menezes, who left Gremio. Gremio brought Vagner Mancini.
Cruzeiro fired Dorival Jr. and hired Adilson Baptista. Vasco fired Waldir Spinoza and kept Romario (!) as the coach. Coritiba watched Rene Simoes leaving and hired Celso Roth.
Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, Sao Paulo and Inter have not entered this dance yet.
