Hmmmmm, methinks Bruno doesn’t like Cruzeiro a’tall, ‘ay? One certainly could get that impression…
What I usually like about that team (and a very few others) is their capacity to “light-up the (proverbial) scoreboard” as I’m usually wagering the “over.”
But, just reading this site can be so damned educational!
Now, if only Mr. Wolfrum’s political views were as astute as his futebol observations…? (smile)

Anyway, at Nautico tomorrow? 4-5-6 goals scored? Should be interesting.

Thank you. But I think that you are not understanding me. I admitted that we have a bad defense and I said we weren’t all that good. And I except with open arms the fact that Cruzeiro is not doing that good. Anywhere between 10th through 1st is good for me. I’m not saying Cruzeiro is great. All I said is that the side that played Goiás was better than the side that played Santos (we got back 3 players from injuries). Traditionally yes, we have high standard like in the 70’s and 90’s, but I’m also saying that Cruzeiro has played worse than this in the 21st century. By the way, (just out of curiosity) what team do you support, I’m guessing São Paulo?

in future rounds you may improve. I’m not saying that. But right now, as we speak, cruzeiro is mediocre. 8th spot is the best spot in the league, and you’re still thinking it’s great? Worst defense and still you think it’s great? not even in 2005 it was like this. gosh, you guys had higher standards….but you’re right. you’re a fan and must protect the image of your club.

No, if you are referring to years past, this Cruzeiro team is not the weakest, there has been a lot of worst Cruzeiro teams. And if you are referring to other rounds in this years championship you’d still be wrong. Cruzeiro last round was much stronger than against Santos in the previous round.
