Before After
The forward Róbson, aka RobGol, announced this Sundays his getting retired. Robgol is one of the biggest idols of the history of Paysandu, that club once visited Boca Juniors for the Copa Libertadores and surprisingly won the game. Robgol decided to stop after Paysandy got eliminated in Pará’s state league, and ended the competition as the top striker with 10 goals.
The forward is young, just 33, but he has another career: he has been elected congressman by Pará state last year, and started his mandate in March. Robgol is part of the exotic candidates elected on a constant basis in Brazil. Helped by Paysandu fans, Robgol had 33,4 thousand votes to legislate in one of the most corrupt states in Brazil.
He scored 87 goals in 119 games for Paysandu, however, Robgol is most remembered as one of the worst players to ever play for Santos, which happened in 2004.
