Lightning Strikes Defender During a Match

 A lightning hit defender Gilvan of Novo Horizonte in the match against Atlético-GO for the 12th round of Goiás state championship that took place on Wednesday afternoon. The defender fell unconscious, but by the time he arrived at the hospital he was recovered. He went through a few tests where it was found some alteration of his heart beats as a consequence of the lightning. He was okayed to go home and play the remainder of the match to be played today in the city of Novo Horizonte.

The match stopped with 18 minutes into the second-half and a 2-2 in the score-board. The video is here
