Yellow Card! Reason: Weird Celebration…

By: Bruno Romani | June 4th, 2007

The derby between Vasco and Fluminense doesn’t end in this blog…

After Abedi scored for Vasco the first goal of the match, the midfielder paid tribute to his 6 year-old son, who has leukemia, by immitating the way they play ball together at home. The referee Alicio Pena Junior found the celebration a bit exaggerated and decided to book the player… What a bone head!

Pena Jr. still had the balls to say: “If he had told me that before, I would’ve not given him the yellow card.”
