Never mind on my previous comment, Bruno. The latest I read is that the clubs have relented - http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,3033_3941480,00.html

Diego and Rafinha will still play in the Olympics after all. You can be sure I will be sticking around here during the tournament and rooting for you guys. :)

Bruno, bad news. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has delivered its verdict on the cases of both Diego and Rafinha. Their clubs still insisted on filing the cases to the CAS after FIFA's ruling on allowing players who are 23 or below the age for the Olympics.

The verdict - http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=international_feed/08/08/06/OLYMPICS_Chn-Soccer_CAS.html&TEAMHD=soccer

What's next? I remembered reading FIFA President Sepp Blatter just saying on Monday that even if the CAS really rule in favour to the clubs, the players cannot be replaced 'because of a rule that says players can only replaced if they are injured before the start of the competition'. - http://sg.sports.yahoo.com/080804/1/4i4z2.html
