The new kit of the Brazilian Squad
By: Bruno Romani | November 17th, 2007Brazil has announced the new version of the mythical yellow jersey. It was inspired by the kit used in the 1958 World Cup, and it will be used for the first time in the match against Uruguay in Sao Paulo. Take a look:

Compare the new kit with the 1958 one:

However, as a Nike produced kit, I’m sure every other national squad sponsed by the American multinational will have something similar to this. I miss the days which each squad had its kits with a particular design.

Hardly a change from their previous uniform, but I am digging the socks with the 5 stars on the right leg and the green at top.

The keeper jersey is so horrible. wished they had a better colour for the keepers. maybe the black or blue that edwin van der sar wears for man utd would be swell… sad.

It’s certainly very similar to the last kit but I quite liked that kit. It’s subtle, simple and minimalist. I like it!
As for comparing Pele with Robinho, well it was Pele himself that begun the comparisons. Robinho still has a whole lot to do before any of it is realised but none the less, he’s shaping up to be a great player…

What two Nike kits from the last cycle were identical? If anything the last statement describes the latest Adidas kits to a tee.
