Adriano Says Good-Bye to Sao Paulo.
By: Bruno Romani | May 22nd, 2008
After last night’s elimination, Adriano is leaving Sao Paulo. He said, “It’s over.” Coach Muricy Ramalho agreed by saying that the forward prepared himself a lot of Copa Libertadores and now found it hard to get him to play Campeonato Brasileiro despite the one month left in the contract. The emperor scored about 20 goals for Sao Paulo ( I have to check these numbers) and landed many visits to this blog. Brazil needs more big names like him playing at home.

Bummer for Sao Paulo. He was easily one of the best players of the tournament and very tough to mark for the South American teams. His technique on some of those goals were spectacular.
Check out my review of last night’s match.

There’s something about prima-donnas that kinda Tick-Me-Off… he’s not “up” for the Brasil competition? Is he “better” than them? There again, perhaps Sao Paulo deserves that kind of player…?
Am just hoping that Moreno sticks around Cruzeiro — that could make things interesting.Posted from
