Botafogo takes the first spot from Vasco
By: Bruno Romani | June 15th, 2007
The first spot on the table for Vasco lasted less than a week. Last night, only one match for the brasileirão was played, and it was the one to define the leader. Botafogo faced Vasco and shows why it is a favorite for the title. The club of the “lonely-star” had a four-zero lead before the hour-mark. Romário barely touched the ball whereas Dodô, the striker of the beautiful goals, visited the net twice. The season for Botafogo’s coach Cuca has been so good that Rio woke up today with rumors that he is moving to Saudi Arabia in a very good deal. Cuca denies it.
