Finally: Adriano Scores at Home

After last Sunday’s referee found a foul in his header, Adriano scored at Morumbi a goal that resembled a lot the one from the weekend. But this time the referee allowed it, and São Paulo beat Rio Claro 3-1. It was the first goal of Adriano at Morumbi, São Paulo’s stadium. Rio Claro, with a young defender named Ricardo Rocha son of the defender who made history in the national team , on pitch made it very difficult for São Paulo. The other two goals, which came late in the second-half, were scored by Jorge Wagner, ex- Betis, and Hernanes, who recently got called for the national team. After the game, rumors that Lyon’s Fred is on its way to São Paulo were reported by the press. Like São Paulo, the biggest clubs in the city are having a hard time against small clubs.
