I think we're being a little hard on Dunga. Don't get me wrong, right now I want the guy fired, but he did beat Argentina twice (3-0) and even won a Copa America (with a little help from the post and a blind referee in the match against Uruguay). Still Dunga has to go, his defensive football does not cut it (that Russian billionaire took the only worthy manager in Brazil).

P.S. the truthful guy, as for Copa Americas Brazil has won 4 of the last 5. Argentina last won it in 1993. Argentina may have 14 titles, but Brazil did not participate in 10 Copa Americas. Let's not forget the Confederations Cup either. Speaking of World Cups, you must be real proud of the 1978 Cup you won (cough cough bought cough).

let's hope Dunga gets the boot - and soon because a World Cup qualifier vs Chile is coming up in a few weeks. let's also hope that the CBF do NOT replace Dunga with São Paulo's Muricy Ramalho as is being rumoured. This would be another step backwards and yet more dull and defensive football.

You'll probably never pry him away, but look at Croatia. What he could do with all that Brazilian talent.

I don't expect Brazil can win gold medal in this tournament. I don't expect Brazil was so humiliated in the second half. Argentina was much more superior in that match. They played like a team and deserved their place in final.

I hope that the overated and big-headed duo Anderson and Pato realised that they are no where near Messi. I hope Brazil realised that we don't need superstars to play for the team instead we just need them to play as a team.

Brazil use to win in every tournament. But in the recent years they lost in every tournament, world cup, U17, U20.

Therefore my question is WHO CAN SAVES BRAZIL NOW??

And baby, if you are the football gods, it's time to win some real tournaments, right? Like the World Cup, Copa America. Because last time i checked, you didnt win Copa America like you said. You lost and you lost to Dunga, the most stupid person. Everybody talk about Brazil, but in 2006 Argentina was a big disappointment just like us.

But dude, it's good because if Brazil wins this tournament will be 2006 all over again. Brazil favorite and all that party and excess. Now Argentina may be favorite along with Spain. Everytime we were favorites, we got so disappointed. Let Argentina play with the pressure!

It looks like a lot of players were asked to play a role not suited to their style. Anderson and Hernanes looked completely out of sorts. They are not defenders but were asked to defend deep. Both are attacking midfielders at their best. Anderson was very violent and Hernanes ineffective as a defender. Alex Silva's idea of defending is to kick the heck out of the ball. Watch the game and see how many times this guy defended by kicking it aimlessly. He is not comfortable with the ball on his feet. Not a good sign if you are a Brazilian defender. For the last time, Diego is not suited for the Brazilian National Team. He simply does not bring anything new to the table. Perhaps the least threatening guy among all the 22 players. I will be surprised if he is called up again. Ronaldinho needs to get out of his Barcelona mindset and for once move from the left side of the pitch to anywhere. There was hardly any movement in the final third from any of the brazilian players. It looks like they had decided before the game that there will only be three players crossing the midfield line. There was no fast peneteration because the attacking mids were either out of shape or simply do not have the technique. That's why usually Messi and Kaka are so effective. The positives are Bruno, Marcello, Lucas, Thiago Nieves and to some extent Rafinha. Hernanes can be effective if he plays in an attacking position. I think Coach has to be blamed for the choosing the wrong players for the wrong positions. Second for the state of mind of the team. A lot of players were just too scared to loose the ball or to take any risks. Dunga wants to play soccer like a video game but it doesn't work that way on the field. "brawn over brains" is the new mantra and violence new brazilan way of soccer.
